At present, PE is the most common straw raw material on the market, which is also the most cost-effective raw material. Its soft feel, appearance and sports performance are close to those of natural grass. It is also the raw material selected by most manufacturers. There is also nylon raw material, which is the best. However, at present, the price in China is relatively high, which does not meet the needs of domestic customers. The cost performance is relatively low, so it is acceptable to few people. The raw materials at the bottom are mainly PP bottom, wool bottom, mesh bottom and PU bottom. Now we usually use PP bottom as the bottom. The binding performance of single-layer PP is poor, and it is generally used for leisure grass, while sports grass uses more double-layer PP; The wool bottom has good durability and corrosion resistance, good adhesion to glue and straw, but the price is twice that of PP bottom; The woven bottom does not use a bottom liner, and the glue is directly attached to the fiber root, which can mainly meet the sports items prohibited by ordinary artificial grass, but at present there is no such bottom in China; In addition, there are PU bottoms. The PU bottoms have extremely strong anti-aging performance, durability, strong grass thread adhesion, and environmental protection and odorless, but the cost is too high. Only some high-end products use the bottoms. The raw materials of glue are mainly styrene-butadiene latex and PU glue. At present, the domestic glue is mainly styrene-butadiene latex, with good performance, favorable price, good water melting performance. The binding force of PU glue is better than that of styrene-butadiene latex, with good durability, but the price is also relatively expensive, which is rarely used in China. Therefore, the most common raw material of artificial turf is PE+PP bottom+styrene-butadiene latex.
